the Singer of the 2008 CBL Theme Song “Show Time”

The 2008 CBL theme song “Show Time”, which has been produced in collaboration with avex China as it was last year, will be sung by Lei Qian.
“Show Time” is Lei Qian's second single and follows her debut single「魔法呜啦雷（Mo Fa Wu La Lei）」(December, 2007). It has a nice catchy melody and is perfect for cheering on the home team at the ballpark.
Lei Qian participated in the CBL Opening Day Ceremonies on April 11th at Tianjin Dodgers Baseball Stadium as a presenter.
Qian, who had never seen a baseball game before, shared her impressions of baseball and sent a message to the CBL fans through a special video.

Hello. My name is Lei Qian. I sing “Show Time”, the theme song for this year’s CBL. The first time I watched baseball was during the 2008 CBL Opening Day Ceremonies in Tianjin. Everything was new and exciting for me because I had never seen a baseball game before. My impression of the sport was that it depends heavily on teamwork. I think “Show Time”, which is a very energetic song, is perfect for baseball.
There was special instructional event for baseball held in the open area at Tianjin Dodgers Baseball Stadium on the day of the Opening Day Ceremonies and I participated in it. In the instructional event, I learned how to hold and swing a baseball bat. I gripped the bat tightly and tried to hit it. But when I swung my bat on the count of three, my bat went flying. The bat didn’t touch the ball and everyone around me laughed. Obviously, I’ve got a lot of work to do.
